Danielle Parsons, LMFT
What type of clients do you work with?
I work with individuals (teens 13+), couples and families. The areas that I specialize in are grief and loss, trauma, depression, self-esteem and life transitions.
What would you like clients to know about how you work?
My work is relational. I work with you to understand what challenges that you are experiencing. I believe that you hold the key in experiencing healing and peace. I provide the space for you to express yourself and be authentic to explore not just the pain and suffering you have gone through but the strengths that you have now to experience healing and peace within. From past experiences you have learned something about yourself and others. Trust in that certainty.
What days of the week do you see clients?
I currently see clients on Mondays and Tuesday afternoons at Ohana Counseling Center.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I am currently in network with the following insurance companies; Cigna, First Choice Health, Healthcare Management Administrators, Optum/United Behavioral Health, Premera and Regence. Please double check with your insurance company that I am an In Network Provider for mental health benefits for your particular plan.
My Education/Credentials
Master of Arts in Couples and Family Therapy from Seattle University. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist.
What else are you passionate about?
I love to be around, and spend time with, beloved family and friends. I love to travel, learn, read books and grow in my understanding of trying to be the best person that I can be. I am open to what life presents to me. I may not always LIKE the “present” but I know that there is always a pearl of wisdom to be learned in the experience.
