What would you like clients to know about how you work?
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important aspects of therapy, so I tend to focus on forming a strong connection and alliance with my clients. I believe it is essential towards growth in the context of therapy. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy. I usually use person centered therapy to help meet the client where they are at, and from there I may utilize other therapies such as a strength based approach, CBT, narrative, existential, psychodynamic, or solution focused. It all depends on the client, and what their needs are.
