What type of clients do you work with?
Children through adults. Most of my experience is with children, teens, and families. Depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma, Bipolar Disorder, relationship issues, grief, life transitions, women's issues, cultural dynamics, LGBTQ+, behavioral issues, ADHD, education challenges, and others.
What would you like clients to know about how you work?
My work with clients merges various therapy strategies, depending on the client and their needs. Some therapy styles that I incorporate are CBT, DBT, narrative, Gottman Couples Therapy, and art therapy. Often there are suggestions of things to try or resources to utilize in between sessions, and as appropriate, art or games may be a part of therapy sessions.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not bill insurance directly at this time. I can provide clients with a monthly receipt for services that they can submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. I take card, cash, or check payment due at the time of service.
My Education/Credentials
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) in Washington. I have a Master's Degree in Psychology through the Couples and Family Therapy program at Antioch University in Seattle. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minor in Diversity Studies from the University of Washington.
What else are you passionate about?
Social justice is important to me. Activities that I enjoy include traveling, learning Spanish, dance, cooking and trying new foods, and spending time with my dogs.
